Still no change!

I went to the doctor yesterday, only to learn there's been no change. My doctor actually laughed and said "about where we were last week". So we are still planning to be induced on October 9th! That's less than 2 weeks from now. It's so crazy! I only have 7 more days at work! I'm big into count downs right now if you can't tell. Keep praying for us. I hope everyone is doing well!

Daddy plays with the Boppy

No, Matt, that is not what you use a boppy pillow for... Thanks to all of my friends at Parkway, we had lots of fun baby stuff to play with this afternoon. I had a lovely and very generous shower today at work. I feel so blessed! We got lots of great stuff. Now I just have to teach Matt what to do with all of it! And it looks like I need to have a talk with Ruben on the difference in doggie toys and baby toys.

No Change!

We went back to the doctor today to learn that there has been no change. My stomach is still measuring at 32, I didn't gain any weight, and Morgan actually lost an ounce. I was most surprised to hear all of this b/c I was certain my stomach grew 2 inches overnight when I looked down Sunday morning. I swear ya'll, my stomach was protruding big time. The doctor said Morgan probably had her butt sticking out and it made me look bigger. I find this extremely funny when I try to picture it. I have not started dialating, so we're still planning on October 9th. I was more than excited to hear this news. I have decided that I need at least another week before I'm ready! We got another sonogram, and Morgan had her hands in her face the entire time. So Matt didn't get to feel any better about her profile since her hands were blocking it! We did see an enormous foot though. She has inherited her Uncle Russell's feet I believe. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. 3 weeks to go!

Doctor Visit

We went to the doctor today. I had a slight freak out moment when the doctor told me I was measuring really small and ordered a sonogram. I knew I was not supposed to have a sonogram till next week, but the doc said we needed to see why I have not grown any over the past couple of weeks. Everything turned out fine. Baby Morgan had plenty of fluid, a good heart beat, and seemed pretty content! She weighs 6 lbs and 2 oz right now. I hear this is pretty average, so that's good I guess. I've got 4 weeks to go, and so far I'm not dialated any. I am "penciled" in to be induced on October 9th - which happens to be our anniversary! I am starting to get real nervous about all this labor business, so I am fine to not deliver any sooner.

Matt was upset he missed the sonogram. I showed him the pictures, and he's sad b/c he believes Baby Morgan has his profile. I think this is ridiculous, but he says he sees it. Men can be so insecure!

Morgan's room

We finished Morgan's room recently. I vowed to not go overboard with pink, but when it came down to it - I couldn't resist. Thanks to my very creative mother for the cute letters, and also thanks to my very precise mother & father-in-law for helping me hang them. It's not as easy as it looks! We hope Morgan will like it!

31 days left!

Matt and I are getting ready for our lives to "drastically change". Everyone seems to feel the need to remind us both of this every day. We only have 31 days left till our actual due date. Morgan Jane is getting a little peeved I feel. She's running out of room to wiggle, and I think it irritates her a tad bit. However, I'm enjoying this while I can. Matt went to the Ole Miss ball game today - probably the only one he'll get to go to this season. I'm glad he got to go and have some fun before our lives "drastically change". Meanwhile, I'm getting some serious couch time in and it feels great.

Heather and Cory came to stay with us last night. See attached picture of the mamas. It's been so fun to go through this with someone who has nearly the same exact due date. We had a good time visiting and comparing! (Also - I apologize for all of my pictures being so huge. I can't seem to figure out how to make them smaller...)
