First Swim

I took Morgan to Aunt Linda's this weekend for her first swim of the year. She doesn't love the water as much as she did last year, but we're hoping that's temporary. She liked sitting on the steps with her feet in, and she loved running around Aunt Linda's pristine yard while the rest of us were enjoying a swim. Enjoy the pics!

Making the Most of It

I'm sure the rain put a damper on everyone's Memorial Day plans this weekend (those in the Southeast at least). We did our best to make the most of it. It is so hard to entertain a little one indoors all day. Today, we would wait for the rain to subside and dash out for as long as we could. Dad was craving Smoothie King, and he was even generous enough to share with Mo. She loves drinking out of a straw. When you offer it to her, she just leans her head in, mouth open, no intention of holding the cup herself. She also likes to bite the straw, then gets frustrated when the drink won't come out! She's so fun to watch!

Mother's Day in Dallas

We went to Dallas for the weekend to meet Morgan's baby cousin Jackson. He was as precious as his aunt and uncle described him. Morgan was very gentle with him, and we were quite thankful. Uncle Russ treated us all to brunch on Mother's Day. Jackson behaved a little better than Morgan, but it was so nice to celebrate with family. Unfortunately, I never got a really good picture of Morgan with the baby, below is the best I can do. This little girl just doesn't like to sit still long! Wish us luck because we are having her picture taken this weekend. I hope she cooperates for just a few pictures!!!!!

Morgan and her Mama

Morgan was pooped Saturday night. She worked hard all day. She even helped us mulch the yard! So Mo and I curled up and watched a little TV before bed time. She doesn't let us snuggle very often, so I was eating it up! She's such a sweet girl :)
