St Paddy's Day Parade

We had a big time at the St Paddy's Day Parade this morning. There was a Pet Parade and Children's Parade plus lots of other activities. Morgan was thoroughly interested in all the happenings. She is NOT afraid of a crowd. We had to keep a very close eye on her b/c not only will she run away from you without hesitation, she will also bend down to pet any dog she sees. Thankfully, we only encountered friendly pups today. Below is Morgan's first time on a horse (not her favorite parade moment), dad's first time with a big yellow snake around his neck (ewwhhh), and Morgan running through the crowd.

Cousin Rhodes' Visit

Cousin Rhodes came to spend the night with Morgan last night. He sure loves his little cousin. He read to her some of his old favorites like Maisy Counts to Ten. And he even cuddled with Morgan this morning in the bed. It was too precious!

TV Time

I swear, I do not have my child camped out in front of a television all day. I promise. But this weekend, the Cedarmont Kids had to do some babysitting while I got some housework done. Morgan looked so funny laying on her stomach propped up watching TV. This may not be humorous to anyone else, but she never sits like that. I swear she never even noticed me sitting right in front of her taking her picture. Those Cedarmont Kids can do some entertaining. The second picture is Morgan on the couch watching some SEC basketball with her daddy. That lasted all of about 3 minutes before she wanted to do something else. It was sweet while it lasted - daddy, his girl, his pup, and his basketball. What more could a dad want?

Busy Weekend

Morgan had a lot going on this weekend. First, she went to her friend Sadie's birthday party and went down a slide for the first time. I couldn't get the birthday girl to stay still long enough for a group shot... Then we had baby John Reed's christening. Morgan went to big church and did pretty good. She doesn't the get the whole "you need to be quiet and still during church" bit, so we left a little early. But she had a big time out at the Makamson's with the dogs and running around in the country. John Reed is so handsome, and he handles attention much better than his daddy! We had a great time visiting with the whole family. Morgan sure has them all wrapped around her finger!

Morgan in the Snow

Of course, I find it ironic that the previous 2 posts on this blog are about the weather warming up. And now here I find myself posting one about snow. Well, that's life in Mississippi. If you don't like the weather, wait a minute... We took Mo out in her pjs this morning to show her the snow before it melted. She wasn't very into it. She didn't like it sticking to her shoes (her shoes that we squeezed over her footie pajamas). She's so busy these days that she's quite hard to catch on camera. We'll try to do a better job of posting cuter pics!
