Weekend Update

I typically devote this blog to Morgan only, but I have something selfish that cannot go without mention. My birthday was last Sunday, and I was lucky enough to share my birthday with a very special event in television history - the series finale of LOST. Call me what you may, but I am a Lostie and so is Cee. Cee came for my birthday and presented me with this incredible cake. It was devoted to Lost, our beloved series. She was able to incorporate my name (crossed out a la cave style), the smoke monster, John's casket, the numbers (with my birthday transposed in between), the polar bear, the plane crash, and much more. And yes, we are wearing matching Lost t-shirts. Only those loyal to the show will get it.

Lorin came over to play again this weekend and they had fun splashing each other in the pool. Lorin also proved to be helpful while Dad bathed Ruben. This has always been a fun game for Morgan, and they both had fun laughing at Ruben suffering through his weekly bath ritual.

Morgan has also taken to golf ever since she played with cousin Jackson's set last month. It never ceases to amaze me how a $5 toy will entertain this child for many an afternoon.

Weekend of Fun

Morgan had a fun filled weekend with lots of friends. Friday night, Hayes and Lorin came over to play. Morgan showed out on her 4-wheeler, and they had fun destroying Morgan's room. You could tell they were having fun by the level of squeals ... Then Saturday, Elaina invited Morgan over to swim in her big amazing water slide/pool combo thing. She had a BALL. It was pretty hot, and I wasn't very good with the camera, but believe me she had some fun in that thing. Morgan is ready for many more swims over the summer!

Baby Petting Zoo

We went to a local event last night that brought in a baby petting zoo. All the baby animals were so cute and completely captivated Morgan. She has no fear around any sort of animal. She desperately tried to feed the goats, pigs, chickens, cows, bunnies and ducks. But I think they were already full by the time Morgan got there.
