Morgan Rolls Over

Morgan rolled over for the first time tonight! We got her to do it a few times, and we finally caught one on camera. Ruben was jealous of all the action, so he was trying to get in on all the fun. We are so proud of our baby girl! Also, notice the little bootie shake she does at the end. Funny stuff.

Sleep Sack Baby

This is Morgan's new sleep sack. It's ridiculously long, but it's fleece so hopefully it keeps her warm on these frigid nights. Every time we put it on her, Matt sings "Sleep Sack Baby" in the tune of Love Shack by the B-52's. He's such a weidro.

This is what Morgan looks like when she goes to sleep...And this is what she looks like when she wakes up...It's a total 180 folks.

Basketball Fan

Morgan is a basketball fan. I promise, whenever Matt has basketball on in the house, Morgan will watch it. Matt is quite pleased with this, I am not. The last thing I need is another sports fanatic in my house. I fear I may never get any TV or Internet time. Below are a couple of picks of Morgan and her dad cold kicking it with some b-ball.

A Little Saturday Snow

We got a little snow at our house this morning ! It was falling so thick and everything looked so beautiful. Then rain came right behind it and took it all away. But we enjoyed it while it lasted! Ruben was beside himself. He's never seen snow before, so he was very unsure on his morning walk. Matt said he was too afraid to step in it, but I don't blame him.

Chubby cheeks

I think this is a funny picture of Morgan. When she's not holding up her head, her cheeks poke out so much. It's endearing, I think. She's also been cracking some mega smiles, which we can't get enough of. I can't wait for the laugh!

Also... Morgan rolled over last night! I had her on her tummy and ran to the other room. When I came back, she was on her back! I put her back on her tummy and made her do it again and again. The only draw back is now she won't stay on her tummy for her "tummy time" now. The child may never learn to crawl. She hates being on her tummy more than anything.

Daddy Can't Help Himself

Matt cannot resist a bare belly. He just has to blow on it. Morgan can't quite figure out what Daddy's appeal is in this game. Watch her face. Her eyes go so wide. Again, this is probably something that is only funny to us. Baby girl just keeps us smilin'.

More Progress

This is probably my most favorite Morgan picture to date. Her eyes are so blue and beautiful, aren't they? Morgan does not like to be on her tummy, so our tummy time is usually brief. I was thankful to snap this shot while she was still in a good mood. Below is also a cute picture of Morgan's pea hat. It's pretty darn cute.

Started Talking

Morgan has started "talking". It's a new development, and we can't get enough of it. So hopefully you won't find this video as boring as the others. I also want to apologize that Morgan seems to be wearing the same gown in every single video. I promise the child has other clothes. She actually has two identical gowns like this one, so you can imagine one of them is always on top in the pj drawer. Enjoy our sweet baby girl and her new "baby talk"!

First Day at Daycare

Today was the day. My first day back at work, and Morgan's first day at daycare. We are so fortunate to have secured a spot in one of the best daycares around, but it's still hard to leave her when I've been home with her every day for the past 12 weeks. Once I got to work, I had a ball catching up with everyone. And from Morgan's "report card", it seems she did fine too. Somehow they can get that baby to sleep during the day. Her naps totaled up to about 4 hours. I was doing good to get a 30 minute nap out of her when she was home with me! Now we will have to see if she sleeps tonight....

I also thought I would add a few other pictures. Morgan loves hanging out in our bed in the mornings. For some reason, I get a kick out of seeing her in such a big bed. She looks so tiny!!!!
