Circus Day

Morgan's class performed the annual "Circus Day" skit at school today. Morgan has been telling us that she was going to be a "dancer" in the circus, but come to find out she was actually a tight rope walker. The kids were a hoot, and she did so good. It was definitely fun to watch!

Texas Fun

We had some big Texas fun this weekend visiting Uncle Russ, Aunt Mandi, Jackson and Annabelle. The kids had a grand time, as did the adults. We are so glad that Uncle Russ got moved to Dallas, because now we can DRIVE there and visit lots more.

Mary Alice has a soft spot in her heart for dogs, Maggie included.

The Dallas Aquarium is amazing.  Morgan and Jackson had a BLAST!

The splash pad was the perfect way to cool off in 104 temps.

So was the pool at Uncle Russ'.  The kids had so much fun sliding into the water.

Wild Weekend

We had a wild weekend at the Trusty house. Friday night, cousin Jackson came to stay with us! We haven't seen him since Thanksgiving! He and Morgan played hard, and Mary Alice was also quite intrigued with her boy cousin. Saturday, John Reed also came to stay with us. The 4 of them had a blast. We went swimming, where I took no pictures because all hands had to be on deck with 4 kiddos and only 2 adults in the pool. Then Saturday night included a wrestingly match on the bed, which was extremely poor judgement on Uncle Matt and Aunt Shelby's part. No one was injured, but it took a lot of coercing to get everyone off the bed! We did get some funny pictures out of it :)
