Forgive me please...

Morgan went on her first girls trip to Marion, AR this weekend. However, mommie left the camera behind in AR. So, for now the blog will have to suffer! It's a shame too, b/c we got some good pictures. And we played in the yard today when we got home. I was so sad I couldn't take baby girl's picture! Who'd a thunk we would wake up to snow yesterday morning, and play in the yard without a coat today???? I've had fun looking at everyone's snow pictures. I have nothing but love for my blogging friends!

First Bite

I finally agreed to give Morgan rice cereal last night. I've been so hesitant, because I don't want my baby girl growing up too fast! I have to say, the entire experience was better than I thought it would be. All of you know me to be a little like "Brie Van de Camp-Hodge" from Desperate Housewives. So I was very nervous about the mess. But we managed to not even get anything on our clothes! Morgan did pretty well. She, of course, had no idea what was going on. But she swallowed some of it! We are going to keep at it this week, and maybe we will even try a vegetable before too long. She continues to amaze us. Enjoy our pics.

Morgan Squeals

Cha-Ching!

Matt and I have been devastated each April for every year that we have been married. We seem to owe more and more taxes each year... But baby Mo has saved the day! We finally got a refund! Thanks baby girl. She would not cooperate for a picture in the tax deduction onsie. This was the best I got out of her. But this is actually what she looks like all the time. The girl has her mouth open 24-7. And usually she's sticking something in it.

Happy Valentine's Day

Aunt Sissy made Morgan these lovely Valentine's accessories. Ain't she crafty! Who wouldn't want Morgan to be their Valentine?

Smart Baby

Morgan had her 4 month check up today. Here are her stats:

Weight: 13.5 lbs, 50th percentile
Height: 24.5 inches, 50th percentile
Head: 42.5 cm, 75th percentile

Baby girl's got a noggin. I think it means she is going to be super smart.

Morgan's Big Day

We had Morgan's baptism this morning at church. She did pretty good. She was not too keen on the preacher after he put cold water on her head, but she forgave him pretty quickly. He walked around showing her off to the congregation, and when he came back I noticed all her wet hair was sticking staight up. It was pretty funny. Here are some shots of Morgan's big day!

New Toys

Morgan is becoming so aware these days. She's been studying her hands and holding on to rattles. We got ambitious and decided to try out some of her big toys. We put together the exersaucer (spellcheck anyone) and her "jump and go". She's not quite big enough yet, but she still got a kick out of it!

Morgan Rolls Over

Morgan rolled over for the first time tonight! We got her to do it a few times, and we finally caught one on camera. Ruben was jealous of all the action, so he was trying to get in on all the fun. We are so proud of our baby girl! Also, notice the little bootie shake she does at the end. Funny stuff.
